General Enterprises b.v., founded in 1993, is a dynamic company offering you a multitude of facilities for Single- and Twin-piston aircraft as well as Jet powered aircraft.
With our facilities at Groningen Airport Eelde, we are centrally located in Europe. The airfield has full service with instrument approaches and departures, customs and an operating control tower.
Our maintenance work is carried out in accordance with European licenses and conditions (Part 145) and with the utmost quality and care for our customers. Maintenance for N- or EASA-registered aircraft up to 5,700 kg presents no problems. Our two modern maintenance hangars are big enough for all single-engine and virtually all twin-engine aircraft in general aviation.
With our experience of maintaining and repairing metal and composite aircraft and our own paint workshop, we can undertake all minor and major repairs to your aircraft. Besides repairs we can perform engine and propeller exchanges.
Our maintenance management service allows you to rest assured that your aircraft is kept up to date with all required maintenance inspections and appropriate Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
Your aircraft is, of course, returned to you freshly washed after its 100-hour check or annual inspection. If you have any questions concerning the work carried out on your aircraft, we are happy to explain all in detail to you.
As we are well known for our flexibility, should you have a technical problem which forces you to make an unintentional stop, we can come to you or, if possible, we will try to help you with our telediagnostic service (troubleshooting). However please be aware, that we are only able to provide this emergency service when you have technical problems, this in accordance with the EASA regulations, which states that we are not allowed to perform scheduled maintenance outside our maintenance facility
With a total of 13 airframe, engine and avionics engineers on staff, we offer high quality and short turnaround times. Of our employees:
• 3 are EASA and FAA licensed maintenance engineers of which 2 have FAA inspection authorization
• 5 are EASA licensed maintenance engineers of which 3 are ARC staff (CAMO)
• 2 are EASA licensed avionics engineers
• 2 have pilot licenses
• Annually 2 – 3 interns
We offer you "while you wait" service on basic maintenance needs. While your aircraft is serviced, you can wait in our customer lounge with Wireless Internet, or we can give you a ride to Groningen.
For longer stays we are more than happy to help you make hotel arrangements.
